Salam semua,
Nak share di sini, setelah menunggu selama 12 tahun akhirnya dengan kerjasama Blizzard, secara rasminya pelancaran Diablo 3 satu Malaysia pada pukul 3 petang 15 Mei 2012.
Aku salah seorang pembelinya. Game ni kalau nak main kene Online. Maka dengan itu, tiadalah versi cetak rompak punya dan sebagaimana kita(gamers) tahu, game dari blizzard ni memang susah nak cetak rompak.
Pakej ni tiada langganan bulanan yang boleh memakan diri peng'gamers' tegar sebab dia konsep Buy2Play. Maksudnya, beli CD original, main la sampai bebila. OKlah, di sini saja.. GUA MAU LEVELING DULU!!

AEON OF STRIFE REVOLUTION (StarCraft)

MOBA games harken all the way back to the days of the original StarCraft, when the custom map Aeon of Strife was created. This map streamlined the traditional real time strategy paradigm by placing the opposing bases under the control of the AI -- each base spawned minions to attack the other down predictable, preset paths called "lanes".
Allied with each of these two AI-controlled bases were two opposing teams of players, with each player in command of a single, powerful hero unit (or "champion"). Without the intercession of the players, the two bases would fight to a standstill, neither making any headway towards the other.
Aeon of Strife, however, was subject to the limitations of the StarCraft map editor, and as a result, didn't possess enough intricacy to hold the lasting attention of a hardcore playerbase.
As a result, the MOBA genre didn't truly begin to blossom until the birth of Defense of the Ancients, a community mod built using the more powerful Warcraft III world editor, which allowed for the creation of much more robust champion units. Players could now earn money and experience for their champions by killing enemies, gaining levels and acquiring equipment to help them wage war. It was here that the standard paradigms that would define the genre would begin to take shape.

Savage 2 : A Tortured Soul
Savage 2: A Tortured Soul is a fantasy and science-fiction themed video game that combines elements of the first-person shooter, real-time strategy, and action role-playing game genres. It is the sequel to Savage: The Battle for Newerth and was officially release
d on January 16, 2008. On December 9, 2008 S2 Games announced that the game was officially freeware, with a paid "Premium Account" option that expanded certain aspects of the game.
The game was released through Steam on July 13, 2008, for download. On December 13, 2008, the game was released as freeware.
Gameplay
Players can choose between two factions: the Legion of Man or the Beast Horde. The initial launch of Savage 2 features the Conquer game type. This game is won by
destroying the enemy's command center - which is either a stronghold or a lair. Each team elects one commander - who views the game from a classic RTS perspective - to build defens
es to support his team and buildings to unlock additional classes for other players. The other players on the teams view the game mostly from a third-person viewpoint and can control a unit from any of the classes available for spawning.
The only real resource is gold, which can be gathered from gold mines. These mines are vital for each team since they are the only way to build defenses and pay the upkeep.
Another task of the commander is to build garrisons or sub lairs, these serve as an additio
nal spawn point - besides the command center. Good position and defence of these structures is essential: a well placed backdoor garrison can give a team a huge advantage.
The commander also can give orders to his team members and can use a wide array of buffs and debuffs to turn the tide of battle.
Experience
Each player and each team as a whole gains experience and levels. Experience is gained from defending structures and siege, killing NPCs and enemies, building and repairing structures, healing and resurrecting fallen brethren. Both teams and players have a level 15 max. As levels are gained a player has the ability to add 3 percentage points to their characters attributes: health, regeneration, mana, damage, and armour. The team commander also has the ability to add attribute bonuses which affect each player on the team. There is a cap of 20% bonus for any given category and a maximum of 30 percentage points total. This means that it is a nice advantage but that skill is still the most important aspect of winning a skirmish.
There is also overall account experience and an account level. This is simply a meter to show how much you've played and how well you play. It does not offer any specific advantages to a level 50 account over a level 10 account. The higher level simply signifies longer playing period and / or more skill and effectiveness in game.
Unit types
Non-siege classes have 1 melee weapon, at least 1 ranged weapon (excluding the beast 'hunter' class that replaced the 'summoner' unit) and at least 3 abilities. Additionally, all units have 9 stats: health, health regeneration, mana, mana regeneration, stamina, stamina regeneration, armour rating, speed and unit cost.
Players can switch classes when they die or when they enter their stronghold, their lair, a garrison or a sub lair.
Several units can only be used once a corresponding structure is built. Additionally certain secondary range attacks for both the humans and the beasts team can be unlocked by building the Human 'Armory' or the Beast 'Nexus'.
Each unit has his own function and possesses a unique play style.
Additional, there are 3 Hellbourne units (a special one was added with FCP2). These are available to both races, but there are 2 requirements: you need to build a hellshrine on a scar, which is heavily defended by NPC's and you need to have a certain amount of souls. Souls can be gathered by killing other players or certain NPC's. There used to be a Helbourne character called 'Maliken' (see the storyline of Savage2 for more info about him) for which you did not need a hellshrine, but only 4 certain items and 15 souls. However, due balance reasons this unit got cut out. 3 of the 4 items stayed, and grant the user a small regain of either Health, Mana and Stamina whenever they receive a soul.
Hellbourne units generally function as superior units, capable of laying waste to entire legions of enemies before falling themselves. They do have some weaknesses however, hellbourne units must constantly gather enemy souls (save for the devourer) to keep themselves alive due to natural health degeneration. Also, the Chaplain and Shaman deal extra damage to all hellbourne units, to the point where they can easily take them down without additional support from otherwise stronger units. In any case, the first team to get a hellgate and fortify it against enemy attack can be assured to have an incredible advantage over their opponents, as most maps have only 1 scar.
Modding
A map editor is available, which allows for scripts, events and all sorts of things so players can create their own game types, similar to Warcraft 3. Mods from Capture the Flag to Soccer have been created.
MOBA
What Is a MOBA?
People fling around the term MOBA when referring to a genre of games popularized by the ever-popular Defense of the Ancients Warcraft 3 mod. But the genre has been around longer and spans far more games than DOTA. Exactly what defines a game to place it into the “Multiplayer Online Battle Arena” category? Debates about this subject are held daily, but there are a few main points almost everyone can agree on.
In a typical MOBA, the player controls only one unit or hero character much like a MMORPG or RPG. It may have some sort of summoning skill to break this rule and offer control to another unit or two but in general the player is only in control of his or her one heroic unit. These hero characters can level up, gain new abilities and skills, and deck themselves out with new gear typically obtained through store purchases but also sometimes found off neutral monsters or bosses. Like a MMOPRG character development is a large part of the game, but designed to evaporate after one game – so you go through your levels much faster than say, World of Warcraft and cap out in about 40 minutes, and start the next game back at level1.
Many Elements from Many Games
The core of a MOBA is centered directly around player vs player team based combat. 1v2's, 3v3's, ganking, pvp action makes up roughly 90% of the game interaction. Teams are typically 5v5. Whether or nor this was an offshoot of the limitations on player numbers you could have in a Starcraft or Warcraft 3 Battle.net game will probably be a subject of interest for many years to come, but regardless of how it came about, the current standard for a MOBA is two teams of five. Many MOBAS all the way back to Aeon of Strife include a traditional base destruction design – the goal is to get your team's heroes past the other team's defense and destroy their unit generating structures and finally their “castle” or game-winning structure.
In a standard MOBA you are going to have both “waves” of AI controlled creatures and also AI controlled neutral spawns. The creatures generally give a monetary incentive when killed by a hero, so it becomes important to get the “last hit” on a monster to help build your funds up quickly to purchase better equipment. These AI elements are directly related to the PvP aspects – attack an enemy hero when his “creep wave” is around and they will turn on you in an instant and start laying into your hero.
Pulling it all together
So it's almost all team based PVP, like an FPS without as much twitch, it has creatures to kill and heroes to advance like a MMORPG or RPG, the GUI is reminiscent of an RTS and games have elements of base attack and defense. Take this bucket of acronym soup and it comes out to create one delicious recipe – the modern MOBA.
